Defining a Parameter for Command Line

This procedure describes how to add a parameter for a command line operation.

Begin

• Click and select one of the following:

  • A previously defined parameter from the list.

  • A new parameter, by selecting Create Parameter and then click one of the following:

    • In job form

    • In connection profile

    The Add Parameters window appears and you can now define the parameters, as described in General Parameters.

  When adding a parameter it automatically appears in the Command Line field and in the Designer area. You can also add a parameter in the Designer area and add it to the Command Line field later. For more information, see Job Type Designer.
